Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 14 ounces tuna in oil, drained (2 cans)
  • 3 tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 eggs, hard boiled, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 4 ounces cream (1/2 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon catsup
  • 3 /4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons salt, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 cup dill pickle, chopped ( half a dill pickle )

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt butter in top of double boiler over boiling water, add flour and cook until smooth.

  • Step 2: Add milk gradually and stir until thickened.

  • Step 3: Pour in cream, cover and cook slowly for 10 minutes, stirring often.

  • Step 4: Mix mayonnaise, catsup, dill pickles and seasonings, (use the amount of salt you like ) then add to the sauce.

  • Step 5: Add the tuna, tomatoes, and eggs.

  • Step 6: Simmer 5 minutes.
