Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a large saucepan over high heat bring the first 4 ingredients (water - cloves) to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Boil for 5-10 minutes. Remove from heat.

Step 2

Add tea bags and cover let steep for 10 minutes. Discard tea bags.

Step 3

Stir in juices (orange and lemon).

Step 4

***Can be prepared one day ahead, cover and refrigerate. Rewarm before continuing -- this can go in a crockpot.

Step 5

Using a slotted spoon remove whole spices.

Step 6

Serve hot.

Lovely spiced tea, that actually reminded me somewhat of cider. I used part orange pekoe and part Irish Breakfast tea. I had it warm and hot, but can see how it would work iced as well. Thank you, ellie, for sharing. Made it for Billboard tag.
