"This is my favorite sauce, It's a bit different method, but it comes out perfect every time. I usually double the batch and freeze it for next time."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Beef Base ...Add the beef to a saute pan and cover with 1 cup water and bring to medium heat. Reduce to low and simmer, you aren't browning the meat. Make sure to break up the meat as it cooks - and don't rush it, take your time; the beef basically falls apart in fine crumbles.
Step 2
Season ... When the beef is cooked, add the tomato puree and paste, onion, garlic, vinegar, all the seasoning and 1/4 cup of the sugar. You can always add more if you want the sauce a bit sweeter. Add a bit more water to make a nice consistency and simmer on low for 30 minutes. I like a thicker consistency, so I mix a little of the corn starch with water and add to the sauce. Bring to medium high to thicken and then remove from the heat. This freezes well, but make sure to cool completely.
Step 3
ENJOY!
