Step by Step Method

Step 1

Boil water

Step 2

Add sugar and stir a bit while the water is still hot so as to melt the sugar.

Step 3

Immerse tea bags in the water for 10-15 minutes.

Step 4

Once you think the tea is strong enough for your taste, remove the tea bags. In Hong Kong, this tea is made quite strong.

Step 5

Allow the tea to cool.

Step 6

Slice four slices of lemon.

Step 7

Add ice to your glass (long and tall is preferred), then place lemons along side glass together with ice around them. Fill up glass with your chilled sugared tea and serve with iced tea spoon and straw
