Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat grill to medium-high.

Step 2

Microwave honey in a small bowl on High for 10 seconds. Stir in paprika, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Brush on both sides of steak. Thread onion slices onto skewers. Brush the onions with 2 tablespoons olive oil and sprinkle with pepper to taste.

Step 3

Grill the steak and onions, turning once, 6 to 7 minutes total for medium-rare steak, 12 minutes total for lightly charred and tender onions. Transfer the steak to a clean cutting board to rest for 5 minutes, then thinly slice against the grain. Serve with the onions. Garnish with parsley, if desired.

Don't know what was the best about this recipe, the ease with making, the finished appearance or the blend of flavors with both sweet and spicy. Which ever all worked to come together in a blend of amazing flavors that the whole family enjoyed

Delicious! We really liked this steak. I used one red onion and one green bell pepper put them in a grill pan topped with oil and pepper to have with our steak along with potatoes which were also cooked on the grill. Very good meal! Thanks for sharing!
