Step by Step Method
Step 1
Place the nuts and water in a lidded jar. Close the jar and let soak at room temperature at least 24 hours.
Step 2
Place the soaked nuts and liquid in a blender and blend for 1-2 minutes, until the nuts are very finely chopped.
Step 3
Using a nut-milk strainer or a colander lined with 5 or 6 layers of fine cheesecloth, strain the milk from the nuts. Keep the milk in a closed jar, refrigerated, for up to 2 weeks. Shake well before using.
