"Isn't it great when you find a recipe that is tasty and actually good for you? Well I like this soup and it is good for you. Omit chili pepper if you don't like spicy. Add any other veggies that are lurking in the fridge."

Doesn't get much easier. I am on a temporary fat restricted diet awaiting surgery and was looking for something a bit more substantial than oatmeal and jello. This fit the bill. I used fat-free broth. I added some mushrooms and some pasta made locally that is almost fat free (not made with eggs or oils]. Loved the kick the chili flakes gave the soup. Thanks for this keeper.
