"Yes, I know it's a silly title. It comes from a goofy old cookbook called "Wolf in Chef's Clothing, the Picture Cook and Drink Book for Men." All the recipes in the book are done in pictures, but I've translated them into words for you. These are really more hamburger steaks than burgers. I don't usually add a panade to my hamburgers, but I couldn't resist the rye bread in this recipe. I've increased the number of servings; the original said that 1 1/2 pounds of meat would only serve four. Feel free to reduce the amount of butter, if any."
