Step 1
Cut steak into 1 inch cubes.
Step 2
Cut the red onion into large chunks and set aside.
Step 3
In a large bowl whisk together soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, vegetable oil, sugar, ginger and sesame seeds.
Step 4
Add the steak, and toss to coat in marinade. Marinate for 3 hours or overnight.
Step 5
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Step 6
Thread the meat and the red onion onto the skewers.
Step 7
Grill for 8-10 minutes, until the meat is done to desired liking.
