Step by Step Method
Step 1
Combine the turkey, bread crumbs, feta cheese, olives, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper and all but about a 1/4 teaspoon of the minced garlic in a large bowl.
Step 2
Shape into 4 or 6 (1/2 -inch-thick) patties.
Step 3
Place on a plate; set aside in the refrigerator for 4 hours or even more.
Step 4
To make the aïoli, combine the mayonnaise, mint, lemon zest and juice, and the remaining 1/4 teaspoon garlic in a small bowl; set aside.
Step 5
Spray the grill rack with nonstick spray; preheat the grill to medium or prepare a medium fire.
Step 6
Lightly spray the patties with nonstick spray and place on the grill rack. Grill, covered, until an instant-read thermometer inserted in the side of a burger registers 165°F, 6 – 8 minutes on each side.
Step 7
Serve each burger topped with a slice of tomato and 2 tablespoons aïoli.
