"Now this will be fun! Shared via my Grandparentsdotcom Newsletter as found in "The Mystery Writers of America Cookbook: Wickedly Good Meals & Desserts to Die For" & contributed there by mystery writer maestro, James Patterson. I'm a huge fan of the mystery-thriller genre & James Patterson books are my Nook faves. ... "Here’s 1 'killer' Alex Cross always loves to catch - Grandma’s Killer Cake! This is a special family recipe dating from the 1940s, a decadent cake that gets better w/age. It's tastier on Day 2 & you'll need to be a good detective after it's been made & sits there in its glass-domed cake stand, staring back at you w/deadly temptation. A piece mysteriously disappears every time I go to the kitchen. Not to be caught red-handed, so looms the 'Killer Cake Killer'!" Prep time was estimated. Enjoy!"
