"This is off another recipe site...I love this soup and I have to hunt it down every time I want to make I'm posting it here for safe keeping. I use the petite frozen pearl onions and leave them whole...because we love onions I double the amount."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Bring broth and water to a boil. Add noodles then cook until al dente, stir occasionally.

Step 2

Next add the pearl onions, peas and prosciutto, simmer for 2 minutes. Turn heat to low and stir in half and half then salt & pepper to your taste.

We enjoyed this soup which was perfect for a busy day. The only change I made was using heavy cream instead of half-and-half. Thanks for sharing!

Such a nice tasting soup! A perfect, warming soup for that chilly weather that is right around the corner and goes perfect with a good hunk of bread. All in my family gave it a thumbs up. Thank you, Teresa, for sharing!
