"Another recipe found in the Stray Rescue fundraiser cookbook I picked up at a Goodwill thrift store. This one was credited to Shawna Davinroy (who called it Aglio Olio)."

Step 1

Cook pasta per package directions. Drain but do not rinse.

Step 2

While pasta is cooking, heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil in a skillet, then saute garlic and red pepper for approximately 30 seconds.

Step 3

Add garlic mixture, parsley/basil and cheese to hot pasta.

It's amazing how such a simple recipe can be so delicious. I didn't use the red pepper flakes, but it didn't lack in flavor at all. Had this as a side to go with chicken, and we enjoyed it very much.

So easy and so delicious! Just did a couple of shakes of red pepper flakes for a little heat. Can't wait to have it again!
