"My grandma didnt share her fudge recipe and we loved it. I think this recipe comes pretty close to hers in flavor and texture. Chopped nuts can be added if desired. Chill time is also the prep time."

Very good fudge. I usually find most Fudge recipes too sweet and rich and cannot tolerate much more than a single piece or two at a time. But this Fudge recipe is different (in a good way!). It's every bit as sweet, tasty, and full of lovely chocolately fudge flavor without being too rich to eat. And it's super easy to prepare, too. I had to chill mine a little longer in order to have it "set" well enough to cut into squares, but that wasn't a problem in the least. Thank you for sharing the recipe!

I gave up making fudge years ago because there were so many "rules" and it usually didn't turn out good. Well, now I can make fudge again thanks to this great recipe. I made as written, but will add walnuts next time for Rocky Road, and I think made with butterscotch chips would be good. Thanks for this keeper.

Only one word describes this fudge. EASY!!!! No candy thermometer needed here. This recipe was made in 10 minutes. Not allowing for the two hour fridge time. I can see some added chopped nuts would work wonderfully as well. This one is a definite keeper for this time of year:=)
