Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven 350 F. Prepare an 8x8 baking pan by spraying it with nonstick cooking spray.


Step 2

To a blender or food processor, add all ingredients except chocolate chips. Process on high until creamy and smooth.

Step 3

Fold chocolate chips into the batter by hand.


Step 4

Bake at 350 F 20-25 minutes until a toothpick can be inserted clean.

Optional Drizzle


Step 5

Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil and drizzle over bars.

Step 6

Cool in the pan 30 minutes prior to slicing into 16 bars.


Step 7

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to one week.

Wonderful brownies!! Love the soft texture and used the optional drizzle. Even DH likes them, and he is not a fan of brownies. I drained and rinsed the garbanzo beans as I do not like the aquafaba.
