Easy Mussels With Garlic And Wine
"This is a cheating recipe but it is so easy and good. Start out with an already good product and add to it. I used to be able to get fresh mussels and tried so many really wonderful recipes but I can no longer get fresh so I now use theis recipe. The "High Liner" Mussels are available in all our local super markets. I am sure similar products are available in your local markets. I just love to have extra juice to soak up with the baguette, that's part of the fun of this recipe.. You may add other ingredients like sweet onions, chives, shallots, sweet peppers - the choice is up to you. Honestly they only take 5 minutes from the freezer to serve. I like to brown the garlic with a bit of butter before adding it to the wine in the pan. Serves two as an appetizer"
