Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2

Line 12 regular size muffin tins with paper liners.

Step 3

In a mixing bowl combine the flour with the next 6 dry ingredients.

Step 4

In a small bowl whisk the milk with egg, oil and vanilla

Step 5

Add the milk mixture to the dry mixture; whisk or beat on low speed of an electric mixture until combined.

Step 6

Mix in chocolate chips and nuts.

Step 7

Divide the batter between the muffin tins.

Step 8

Bake for 22-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean (don't over bake).

Step 9

Cool and frost with favorite frosting.
