"Just a real easy chili recipe I received from a friend named Brenda Russell way back in 1993 if not earlier. And if you think this might be too "Spicy" for the kiddies, just leave out the chilis. For better flavor let it simmer longer,or make it a day ahead and re-heat.Feel free to top this chili with cheese if you like. For a heartier meal, just add some cooked pasta to this or even serve it over egg noodles. If not using noodles or pasta, have some cornbread on the side. Being new here I don't know how the members view heat factors, but this needs nore heat and flavor. We give it a 3.5 stars. I am sorry, but it just is not for us.
