Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 3 (16 ounce) cans pinto beans,drained (you can use kidney beans if you like)
  • 2 (1 1/4 ounce) packages mild chili seasoning mix
  • 1 (64 ounce) bottle Campbell's tomato juice, the large bottle (I've used store brand juice with the results being just as good )
  • 1 (4 ounce) can green chilis (optional)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: In large Dutch oven,over medium heat,cook ground beef until no longer pink.

  • Step 2: Drain and return meat to pan; add chili seasoning packets.

  • Step 3: Then add beans and chilies.

  • Step 4: Add enough tomato juice to cover (about 3/4 of the bottle),and stir well.

  • Step 5: Simmer for about 20 to 25 minutes.
