"We are big fans. This is officially called "Jase's Favorite Sweet Potato Pie" Yummy - I used a little less nutmeg; personal taste. 2 1/4 pounds fresh sweet potatoes will make around 3 cups -once cooked and mashed. This recipe makes 2 pies"

We really enjoyed these pies on our dessert table for the holidays. I made it as written and wouldn't change a thing. A must have for our holidays!

Because of the season and holidays yams are a real great price so I wanted to try a few recipes from this site to use them, since I am a huge fan DD and I know how great a cook Miss Kay is (I think that woman can make anything ordinary extraordinary!) I could not wait to try this recipe and it was just as as I knew it would be, a 5 star recipe plus! I got two of the most wonderful pies which now are both gone. I am going to make more soon. Thank you natsgarden123 for sharing this wonderful sweet potato pie with all of us!
