Step by Step Method

Step 1

Lightly brown seasoned meat on both sides in the butter.

Step 2

Add onion.

Step 3

Saute, until onion is tender.

Step 4

Sprinkle parsley, thyme, rosemary, garlic salt, pepper, pimiento and lemon peel over meat

Step 5

And pour in liquid from peas (both cans).

Step 6

Cover and simmer until meat is tender, about 30 minutes.

Step 7

Thicken with corn starch mixed with water.

Step 8

Stir in lemon juice.

Step 9

Cook until thickened and add peas and heat, covered, until peas are hot.
