"Easy casserole with cream of onion soup and canned veggies. Easy meal when you get home, just dump and bake. You can use butter instead of bacon grease, but it gives it a better southern flavor. I'm not adding salt, but you can."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350F.

Step 2

Place bacon grease in 9x9 casserole.

Step 3

Add sliced onions over bottom, then undrained potatoes.

Step 4

Season lightly.

Step 5

Smear soup over potatoes.

Step 6

Drain green beans juice into soup can and mix.

Step 7

Add to casserole with the green beans.

Step 8

Bake until tight and not soupy and lightly browned.
