Step 1

Stir together dry ingredients in a large bowl.

Step 2

Add beaten eggs, milk, oil and vanilla, stirring until well combined. Add boiling water and stir until incorporated. Batter should be thin at this point!

Step 3

Pour into greased cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

Step 4

Cool before frosting.

Step 5

TO MAKE FROSTING: Stir together all frosting ingredients in a bowl until creamy and spreadable. Spread on cooled cake and smooth with table knife or frosting spreader.
