"This is a great salad to have anytime, but especially in the summer when it's hot and you don't feel like cooking to make a potato salad. It's great with burgers and hot dogs, or as a side to any of your grilled meats. PLEASE NOTE: You can thaw your peas in a bowl filled with warm water to speed the process, if you want to make it in a hurry. Add as much cheese as you like. You can switch out the veggies to use broccoli or cauliflower instead of the peas. You can use the bacon in the jar (real bacon) to speed up the process too! Make sure it is well chilled before eating to give the ingredients enough time to meld together. You can add chunks of chicken, tuna, ham or pepperoni to make it a complete meal, or even potatoes if you want a potato salad. COOK TIME is actually time it takes to chill in the refrigerator."
