Step by Step Method
Step 1
Butter a square 8x8x2 inch pan.
Step 2
Spread nuts in the pan.
Step 3
In a large saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, butter and half of the cream.
Step 4
Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Step 5
Stir in remaining cream.
Step 6
Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, to 245 on candy thermometer.
Step 7
Immediately spread mixture evenly over nuts in pan. Cool.
Step 8
Cut into 1-inch squares.
