  • 2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups light cream

How to Make

  • Step 1: Butter a square 8x8x2 inch pan.

  • Step 2: Spread nuts in the pan.

  • Step 3: In a large saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, butter and half of the cream.

  • Step 4: Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly.

  • Step 5: Stir in remaining cream.

  • Step 6: Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, to 245 on candy thermometer.

  • Step 7: Immediately spread mixture evenly over nuts in pan. Cool.

  • Step 8: Cut into 1-inch squares.
