  • Choose cooked shrimp with the tails still on for a more appealing presentation.
  • For a spicier flavor, use a hot chili sauce instead of the regular Heinz chili sauce.

  • Substitute honey for the cranberry sauce for a sweeter flavor. The benefit of this substitution is that the sweetness of the honey will balance out the spiciness of the chili sauce and horseradish, creating a more balanced flavor profile.
  • Substitute lemon juice for the red wine vinegar for a more tart flavor. The benefit of this substitution is that the tartness of the lemon juice will add a refreshing flavor to the dish, and will also help to bring out the sweetness of the honey.

I cut this down to 3 servings...it really does make a lot...this sauce is very sweet...so next time I'm going to increase the horseradish and the vinegar to cut a bit of the sweetness...made for "Bill Board" tag game...
