Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350F. Line a 9 x 13 inch pan with parchment paper.

Step 2

Break pretzels into thirds and fourths. Do not crush them. Break up corn chips. Mix pretzels, chips and peanuts in the pan.

Step 3

Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. When completely melted, stir in brown sugar. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute, stirring once or twice. Pour over pretzel mixture and bake for 7 minutes.

Step 4

Remove pan from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot mixture. Return pan to oven for 1 minute, then remove it from oven and spread softened chocolate over mixture.

Step 5

Let cool in pan for 1 hour, then chill until the chocolate sets and candy holds together.

Step 6

When ready to serve, break slab into approximately 16 pieces.
