"If you are watching carbs/calories Tofu Fettuccini is a great substitute for pasta . In half of a 226g package there are only 20 calories and 3g carbs. It is a generous serving. Put any sauce over it and it is very difficult to tell it from the real thing. This is your basic recipe top it with anything you like. If you are adding some topping leave out the butter and Parmesan."

Place the fettuccine in a sieve and rinse really well with cold water, drain well

Have a large pot of water boiling

Cut the peeled garlic cloves in half, add to boiling water

Add fettuccini
Step 5
Let the water come back to boiling,
Step 6
After one minute, drain the fetttuccini
Step 7
Add butter and parmesan, enjoy
