Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2

Saute onion, garlic, red pepper and carrot in oil over medium heat until they become soft.

Step 3

In a medium-sized bowl, combine eggs with milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Step 4

In a separate large bowl, mix breadcrumbs and flour into the beef and pork with your hands.

Step 5

Add egg and milk mixture, sauteed veggies, ketchup and mix it up with your hands.

Step 6

Press the mixture into a meatloaf pan or a large loaf pan.

Step 7

Bake for 30 minutes, then spread additional ketchup over the top of the loaf to taste, then bake for another hour.

Step 8

Let it sit for 10 minutes.
