"I discovered this glaze as part of a cheesecake recipe and now I use it on it's own for other recipes. I like that it doesn't harden to the point where it will crack when you are cutting into it even after it is stored in the fridge. But it does harden up quite a bit. You can make more or less of this recipe as needed."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Place all ingredients in a microwave safe bowl.

Step 2

Melt ingredients at 15 second intervals and stir at each interval.

Step 3

When it's completely smooth (this should take less than 1 minute depending on the power of your microwave) pour over your cake or dip your donuts, etc. in the glaze and let cool/harden.

Step 4

Note: glaze will harden quicker if placed in fridge.

Step 5

Note 2: You can melt ingredients in a double boiler if you prefer.

I made this to have on some brownies and I added nuts to the glaze. We loved it and I can see myself using this on other things as well, namely Angel Food Cake for starters!
