"I felt like a peppy burger and had some lean ground pork so I developed this recipe.. I hope you enjoy it. It BBQs well just grill it over medium high heat flip half way through cooking. I like to serve it with fried mushrooms on the side. With lettuce and a slice of sweet onion on top. If you are serving fried mushrooms just cook them along side the patties. If you like a bigger burger just make three from the pound."

Step 1
Mix 1/4 cup salsa with the chipotle chili powder, garlic powder and chili flakes and ground pork
Step 2
Form into 4 half inch patties
Step 3
Cook over medium high heat in a fry pan or BBQ apprx 5 minutes each side
Step 4
Place cooked pattie on a bun, divide the remaining 1/4 cup salsa over top along with any other condiments that you like - add cheese if you wish
