Chili Beef Noodle Skillet
"I posted this recipe as a request from ellie. I found the original in TOH 2002 Quick Cooking Annual Recipes it was sent to them by Deborah Elliot from Ridge Spring ,SC. As I was reading through it, I knew it wouldn't spicy enough for my SO and myself. So I changed a few of the ingredients and substituted others. This originally served 8,but I cut it down to 4. Step by Step Method
Step 1
Cook noodles according to package directions,drain and set aside.
Step 2
In a large skillet add ground beef and onion,cook until meat is browned and onion is tender. Drain and return to skillet.
Step 3
Add tomatoes,celery flakes,garlic powder, chili powder,salt,& pepper.
Step 4
Stir well and cook for 2 minutes.
Step 5
Add noodles to beef mixture ,stir well and heat through.
Step 6
Sprinkle with cheese,cover for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted (if you like top each serving with extra cheese).
