Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 ounces dry egg noodles (wide)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 /2 cup finely chopped sweet onion
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried celery flakes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 can (14.5 ounce) tomatoes (Zesty Chili Ready Tomatoes, do not drain)
  • 1/2 tablespoon chili powder (or to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or more if desired)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook noodles according to package directions,drain and set aside.

  • Step 2: In a large skillet add ground beef and onion,cook until meat is browned and onion is tender. Drain and return to skillet.

  • Step 3: Add tomatoes,celery flakes,garlic powder, chili powder,salt,& pepper.

  • Step 4: Stir well and cook for 2 minutes.

  • Step 5: Add noodles to beef mixture ,stir well and heat through.

  • Step 6: Sprinkle with cheese,cover for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted (if you like top each serving with extra cheese).
