What a perfect cup of tea, Bea! The amount of spices is spot on where their flavors shine through beautifully. Because I made this at night, I opted to use green tea, so that the caffeine wouldn't keep me awake, I don't think it hurt the flavor in the least. All I need is a good book and to sit on the comfy side of the couch, to round out this night perfectly. Thanks so much for sharing this lovely tea with us, Bea!

Engrossed

Wonderful spiced tea for a cold rainy fall evening. I started to make a half recipe using Splenda but then I realized I had added the full amount of sweetener so I added 2 more cups of water. I used half a can of fat free evaporated milk I had open in place of the milk. It turned out great! I like that it didn't have anise or fennel in it. I didn't think of it until now but some vanilla extract might be good in it also. Freddy Cat says thanks for the drink! Made for the Recipebook tag game.
