Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Cook celery for 8 minutes in water and drain.

Put into casserole dish with chestnuts and chicken soup.

Lightly season to taste.

Bake at 350 for 20 minutes with cover on.
Step 6
In a sauté pan, melt butter, breadcrumbs and almonds.
Step 7
Brown lightly.
Step 8
Then uncover the casserole pan and put breadcrumbs, almonds, butter mixture on top.
Step 9
Bake 10 minutes longer uncovered.
