"This is a recipe I put together when I first went out on my own. I was always looking for cheap meals that tasted good and this was one of them. I still make this every so often and enjoy it just as much as I did back then. I used to make this with breadcrumbs but now I use oat flour instead due to a gluten allergy. If you do not have oat flour you can make it by processing dried oatmeal in a spice grinder or use the same amount of breadcrumbs."

Step 2

Coat the bottom of a non-stick skillet with vegetable oil and bring to medium high heat; cook the patties until browned on both sides, about five minutes per side, being careful when flipping them over.
