Step by Step Method
Step 1
Make sure your campfire is going strong.
Step 2
Set out six large squares of HEAVY DUTY aluminum foil.
Step 3
Leaving the peels on the bananas, remove the stems; then make a cut in each banana lengthwise (from top to bottom).
Step 4
Spoon out a little of the banana flesh (eat or discard it).
Step 5
Stuff the banana with miniature chocolate chips and miniature marshmallows.
Step 6
Wrap each banana with heavy duty aluminum foil, then place directly in the coals of the campfire and cook about 5 minutes (or until the chocolate and marshmallows have melted).
Step 7
Using LONG TONGS, remove the bananas from the fire. They will be HOT.
Step 8
Using a hot pad or oven mitt, slowly unwrap the bananas (the steam will also be hot).
Step 9
Eat with a spoon out of the peel.
