Step by Step Method

Step 1

Make sure your campfire is going strong.

Step 2

Set out six large squares of HEAVY DUTY aluminum foil.

Step 3

Leaving the peels on the bananas, remove the stems; then make a cut in each banana lengthwise (from top to bottom).

Step 4

Spoon out a little of the banana flesh (eat or discard it).

Step 5

Stuff the banana with miniature chocolate chips and miniature marshmallows.

Step 6

Wrap each banana with heavy duty aluminum foil, then place directly in the coals of the campfire and cook about 5 minutes (or until the chocolate and marshmallows have melted).

Step 7

Using LONG TONGS, remove the bananas from the fire. They will be HOT.

Step 8

Using a hot pad or oven mitt, slowly unwrap the bananas (the steam will also be hot).

Step 9

Eat with a spoon out of the peel.
