Step by Step Method
Step 1
Combine first four ingredients (sugar - butter) in a saucepan. Cook over low-medium heat, stirring occasionally, 5-8 minutes or until mixture barely comes to a low boil. Remove from heat and cool for about 5 minutes.
Step 2
Stir in the whipping cream. Then stir in the toasted pecans.
Step 3
If using right away, let it cool a little bit. Store the sauce in an airtight container in the fridge.
