"This is a great way to use up left-over mashed potatoes. The recipe is titled as is because of the sound this makes while cooking. You may add other left-over veggies to this if you like; you may have to increase the amount of butter used depending on how much more veggies you add."

There were some leftovers of cabbage & mashed potatoes in the "fridge" and knew that I wanted to make "Bubble and Squeak". So,I decided to try this recipe. There were a couple of additions to the recipe, some chopped cooked carrots and a dash or two of garlic powder.I think this is a very good way to use up the last bit of odds and ends. Thanks for posting and, " Keep Smiling :) "

This is very yummy! DH loved the simplicity of this dish. As I usually add carrots, brussel sprouts and any left over meat I have on hand. Sometimes I make them in patties and then fry them. As I have more cabbage and potatoes DH has asked I make your recipe again! Thanks Bea for another wonderful, keeper recipe! Made for Billboard Recipe Tag.
