"My start to the morning smoothie that I love is also very healthy. The recipe shared by a friend has been tweaked, it gives me the daily ingredients I use with no hit and miss, yogourt, cranberry juice, protein, fiber and fruit combined. The fruit and juice from the grocers the rest of the ingredients are readily available in health food stores. I love bananas especially ripe bananas which I half, slice and freeze ready to pop into my faithful Magic Bullet, no need for the icecubes used in most smoothies. If you love and use these ingredients you will love this smoothie."

Step 1

Combine ingredients in a blender and whip until frothy.

NOTE to first time users - do yourself a favor and rinse or wash your container and glasses. Makes washing up so much easier.

For those who decide to make this their regular morning drink - to make it quick and easy I delegated shelf space for a sturdy shoe box type clear container and Dollar Store jars to fit to have it all in one place, with the exception of the protein powder which I store in a larger glass jar also from the Dollar Store. Makes it quick and easy.
