Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a large pot sauce the bacon over medium high heat until crisp; drain on paper towels. Pour off all but 6 tablespoons of the drippings.

Step 2

Add onions and garlic; sauce until they begin to brown (10-15 minutes); stir in tomatoes and allspice; simmer for 15 minutes or until mixture thickens.

Step 3

Stir in beans, jalapeños and bacon; simmer for another 20 minutes; stirring occasionally.

Step 4

Season with salt and pepper.

Step 5

Stir in cilantro and transfer to serving bowl.

Wowsers this is good ,I used Walmart real bacon bits and Trappley pintos with jalapenos which are awesome by the way it is going into my best of files
