These beans are good and easy to make in the crockpot. I feel like there is too much sugar. I think it should be cut in half. I used horseradish mustard for the mustard.

This is so good! I only had two cans of baked beans (mine were peppered) so added one can on white beans (all were 15 oz). I also added 1 pkg of frozen corn to the crockpot. Served with tossed salad and garlic bread. I think my family would eat this every day of the week -- it is so good! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! This is really good. I have been so busy that I forgot to look at the recipe this morning and got ready to make it tonight and realized it was for the crock pot. Oops. So I improvised with the skillet. I only used one can of tomato sauce. I only used one can of beans (chili beans) also. Someday I'll make it again like the directions say to. P.S. I made this again for Labor Day weekend. I actually made it in the crockpot this time. Very good! I love the mustard in it. Next time I may put way more, pooey on if anyone else wants it or not. I know I will like the extra mustard. Thanks!

I made this recipe on 8/1/16 for two events," Alphabet Soup Tag " and " What's On The Menu ? " in FFF. Since it was just the two of us,this is how the recipe was made. I used just one pound of ground beef, and 1/3 cup of brown sugar. The remaining ingredients were reduced by half. Instead of putting everything in the crockpot, I just let it simmer in the skillet on low for about 45 minutes.I do apologize for the low review, but we thought it might have been better using a BBQ sauce instead of the tomato sauce. I don't think letting it simmer in the skillet changed the outcome of this. " Thanks for taking the time to post this recipe and, " Keep Smiling :) "

So easy, so good! Love when easy tastes like you spent the day in the kitchen! This is a great recipe to have on hand for weekends and as a side for the summer cookouts! Other than cutting back on the sugar I made as posted - next time around will try Bergy's hollowed out kaiser buns when it comes to the serving. And yes there will be a next time!

It is amazing what a crockpot & a creative recipe can do to a can of beans! The beans are so tasty mellow. I cut the recipe back to 4 servings. I hollowed out two multi grain Kaiser bun and served the beans in them. I have some leftovers that we will enjoy tomorrow.
