Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Step 2

In a 2-quart casserole dish, combine the yams, orange, pineapple and its juice, cinnamon and nutmeg; dot with the margarine.

Step 3

Cover and bake until the yams are tender, about 45 minutes.

We did enjoy this. little bit different!! we rarely get yellow sweet potatoes here so I had to use the regular white ones, so it doesnt give the same visual effect, but was very good, thanks for sharing!!!!

Oh my this is sinful!!! I couldn't get enough of this side dish. I served these sweet babies up as a side to pork roast which made for a fantastic meal. This will be made often.

We really enjoyed the yams prepared this way Teresa. They were very yummy. The orange is a nice addition and keeps the pineapple from being too sweet. The yams were flavorful, tender and way too delicious. Thank you for sharing this great recipe. Made for First Time Tag.
