Step by Step Method

Step 1

Generously grease a small casserole dish with butter.

Step 2

Place the peaches or nectarines in the casserole dish.

Step 3

Toss the raisins over the peaches or nectarines.

In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ground ginger; sprinkle this evenly over the fruit.

Pour 1/2 of a cup of melted butter over everything.

Cover and bake for 45 minutes to 50 minutes, or until peaches or nectarines have softened.

All too cool to room temperature and serve this over ice cream, or topped with whipped cream.
