  • 1/3 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2/3 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup melted butter, plus more for greasing the casserole dish

How to Make

  • Step 1: Generously grease a small casserole dish with butter.

  • Step 2: Place the peaches or nectarines in the casserole dish.

  • Step 3: Toss the raisins over the peaches or nectarines.

  • Step 4: In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ground ginger; sprinkle this evenly over the fruit.

  • Step 5: Lightly mix in the rolled oats.

  • Step 6: Pour 1/2 of a cup of melted butter over everything.

  • Step 7: Cover and bake for 45 minutes to 50 minutes, or until peaches or nectarines have softened.
