"This is one of my original recipes. I have had this recipe posted at for many years and all over the web, some by me some others pilfered . I have not been able to photograph them because they are gone by the time I get my camera. Be prepared for visitors if tailgating, camping or in your back yard cooking these, the aroma is enticing."

Grill time here in Saskatchewan, awhile back having fresh hamburger looked for a change of pace burger pattie recipe. It is said I have a good eye for recipes, the hamburgers are as good as I thought they would be seeing to a five star that is so repeatable.

I cut down the recipe to half making 4 large hamburgers. The flavors from the ingredients in the recipe really shone through, and tasted extra special off the grill. My family loved them! I will be making these often.

Yes! There is a lovely aroma when you are cooking the burgers. I grilled them on a cusinart Griddler (the hardwood coals would have added even more flavour but I don't BBQ). I cut the recipe back to One 5 ounce burger and Two 4 ounce burgers. The texture is easy to work with. I added a smear of horseradish to the finished burgers and served them with carmelized onions on top along side some fried mushrooms and Actifry mini potatoes right from the garden. Thanks Shadows. It was a lovely Saturday night burger 24 June 2017I have made these before and enjoyed them just as much this time. I topped them with carmelizd onions, fine chopped coldslaw, aged White Cheddar & Tomato slices.

Yes these are good! The addition of lemon pepper, beer and dry onion soup really kicks these burgers up a notch, lucky my husband is a beer drinker he downed the remainder of the bottle :) I used fresh garlic and more cayenne, this is a great burger recipe, thanks!
