5 Minute Bourbon Beer BBQ Sauce
"I have a couple of good recipes for homemade BBQ sauce which I make often. However, sometimes, I just don't have the time or all the ingredients, so I jazz up a basic store bought brand. You can have a lot of fun by adding jams or jellies, pureed fruit, citrus or other fruit juice, liquors (such as bourbon, beer, grand manier, etc); lots of possibilities. This is one of my favorite combinations. It isn't a thick sauce, but more like a glaze; but it has lots of flavor. Excellent on chicken, ribs, pork tenderloins, etc."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Sauce ... Add the bourbon, beer and apple jelly to a small pot. Bring to a boil, and immediately reduce to a simmer. Add the BBQ sauce, mix, cook another minute to warm everything up. Let cool a few minutes before using. As I said, this is more a glaze vs a thick sauce.
Step 2
Glaze your favorite meats; ribs and chicken are my favorite. ENJOY!
