Step 1

Using food processor, coarsely chop cranberries and orange.

Step 2

Add sugar; process again to combine.

Step 3

Place in covered container and chill for 24 hours.

Step 4

Stir in whiskey just before serving.

A simple recipe but dont be fooled because it is full of flavor! I used bourbon since that is what I had on hand and I think a bit lighter then Jack Daniels whiskey. Loved that the whole orange was used to get the tart and sweet flavors. Just enough sugar to sweeten nicely and not candy. Definitely a lovely dish to serve with a holiday meal. Made and reviewed for the Billboard recipe tag game.
