"I love picadillo and here is a way to enjoy this comfort food with fewer calories than traditional beef-based versions. Traditionally, this is served with white rice. Step by Step Method
Step 1
Spray a skillet with pan spray and heat over medium heat. Add onions, green pepper, and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
Step 2
Add ground turkey and cook, breaking the meat apart, until no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
Step 3
Lower heat and stir in tomato sauce, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Step 4
Add olives and raisins and cook another minute until they are heated through.
